NVQ Level 2 in Barbering​

Take the first step into the world of Barbering with our 12 week NVQ Level 2 course. This course is designed for beginners and will allow you to leave our Academy more than ready to enter the world of barbering with a high level of expertise.

These courses are limited to small cohorts and are ran by our award winning team, who are all fully qualified trainers and assessors. By limiting course numbers, we believe this allows you to reach your full potential as our trainers will spend one on one time with each student, offering a level of teaching and service that you will not get anywhere else.

At Crate Cheshire Academy, you will be learning in a real salon environment and will be interacting with clients, which will set you up for when you start your first job upon completion. We will ensure you are confident in what you have learnt and will be there for ongoing support and references when you are looking for your barbering jobs. Given Crate Cheshire Academy operates in a salon environment, there will, at times, be opportunities for employment at Crate Cheshire and our learners will be prioritised when we are looking for future talent in our salons.

The course will be very interactive and you will spend a lot of time working through practical training, rather than relying heavily on theory work. There will of course be written elements to the training to ensure all aspects of Barbering are covered. Our team will ensure each learner is set up and ready for all examinations and will invite clients into the Academy to ensure the best learning experience.

The course will run across three days a week, for twelve weeks and we believe this intensive level of training will leave you well prepared for a barbershop or salon environment. Upon completion of the course, you will graduate with a NVQ Level 2 Diploma and our team will also dedicate time in helping you prepare your CV and start your job search. Our pool of successful students are also the first point of call for any vacancies in our Crate Cheshire salons.
